• MOLD FEE: A one-time $320 charge that includes a free prototype in bronze.  Silver alloy prototypes are available for an extra $28.00.

• ART FEE: $80/hour for art cleanup.  Your first hour is free.  Not all designs are perfect for casting.  Modifications and suggestions will be made to help get the best product possible.  
 

• SCULPTING $350 - $600 pending design; some designs could be more.  Hand sculpted by a local artist to size.  Not all designs require this.  
 

• 3D RENDERING AND PRINTING: $200 minimum.  Additional costs pending design need to be quoted.  Not all designs require this.  

• SERIAL NUMBERING FEE: $55.00 one-time fee for sequential numbering.  Optional.  

• CUSTOM BACKPLATE FEE: $50-80 one-time fee. This is great for blank backplates for engraving, custom text, and logos. It's optional. Specific engraving requests are an extra $15 per buckle. Buckles need to be molded with this backplate. If you'd like this, please request it when placing your initial order.

FINAL DESIGN APPROVAL SHEET: 

This form is a lot!  In 50 years of doing this, we've learned what to try and cover to keep issues from biting us or customers.  The process is long and expensive.  We want to avoid wasting anyone's time or money.  If you have any questions about the form, please reach out to us before you sign or initial anything. We'd be happy to walk you through and help you understand if things really apply to your situation or not.  THIS FORM MUST BE SIGNED TO START PRODUCTION.  We will reach out 3 times to obtain this.  If we don't receive it, you waive the rights this form holds.

BUCKLE PROTOTYPES:

Your free prototype that is included in the mold fee is a Foundry Proof buckle.  This buckle is made to ensure the mold is flowing properly.  We can only see the full extent of any issues if we cast AND finish a buckle fully.  We can then make any pin hold vents to the mold as needed.  In the meantime, we now have a fully working belt buckle that we don't have any space to hold on to.  That's why we send them to the customers as a prototype.  If there were any issues from the mold, they will be addressed, and future orders will not have those flaws.  If the issue you are not happy with is anything other than that type of casting flaw.  Ex: size, spelling, or general design changes.  Those are all things that can be fixed.  However, those require a new mold fee to do so.  We will make sure to go over all the details and have you sign a final design approval form prior to production to help avoid issues and remolding charges.   If there is a goober on your design that you didn't sign off on, and we didn't see that, and it got molded.  Don't worry, we'll replace the mold, no cost to you.

SERIAL NUMBERING DETAILS: 
There is no extra charge for standard sequential serial numbering per buckle.  Prototype bukles will be makred with FP for foundry proof.

Requests for a number out of sequence have a $15 per buckle charge.  NOT ALL NUMBERS ARE GOING TO BE AVAILABLE.  EX: if you want #15, but the next open number for your buckle is 60, we will not renumber any number that has already been issued.  That compromises the point of having serially numbered items.  If you want #154 and the next number is 60, we can do that for you.  We will note that #154 has been used and skip over it when we get to that point in the sequential numbering.  This is a very manual process, and there is no way to fully guarantee that a duplicate number will not be done again.  It's the risk assumed when ordering specialty serial numbers.

Buckles cast in bronze and silver alloy share an edition. Sterling, Gold-Plated, and Silver-Plated EACH have their own edition.

CUSTOM BACKPLATE ENGRAVING: $15.00 per buckle.  Limit 6 characters if using a standard serial number plate.  Custom blank backplates have more room and allow for more characters.  Buckles must have some type of blank, smooth area for us to engrave on.  Not all buckles were molded with this.

BELT BUCKLE PASSCODES:
Buckles in the restricted section have the option of having a special passcode.  BUCKLE PASSCODES are NOT the same as your login password.  What you use to log into the system (to place orders) is not what you use to unlock the ability to order restricted buckles.
